Sundance’s Midnight Titles Include ‘The Night House’

The Sundance Film Festival announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival that will hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 23–February 2, 2020.

 

From horror and comedy to works that defy genre classification, the Midnight films will keep you wide awake, even at the most arduous hour. Films that have premiered in this category in recent years include Greener Grass, Hereditary, Assassination Nation, The Little Hours and The Babadook.

 

Included among these titles is The Night House, directed by David Bruckner (V/H/S, Southbound, The Ritual), written by Ben Collins & Luke Piotrowski (SiREN, My Super Dark Times), and produced by David Goyer, Keith Levine, and John Zois. The Night House is about a widow who begins to uncover her recently deceased husband’s disturbing secrets. Cast: Rebecca Hall, Sarah Goldberg, Stacy Martin, Evan Jonigkeit, Vondie Curtis-Hall.
